Bruce Fenton, the lead developer at Dogecoin today revealed that Elon Musk never contacted Dogecoin team. The billionaire inventor few days back tweeted that he is working with dogecoin developers to improve the system. This tweet comes at a very critical time considering the current bloodbath cryptocurrency market is going through after Tesla stopped bitcoin payments.
As lead developer at Doge, I have to say that Elon has never contacted any of us.
We have a development system that we refer to as ossified preserved statefullness. If Elon wants to submit a DIP (DOGE Improvement Proposal) he’s welcome to – but we like the protocol how it is.

What Is Elon Musk Planning?
Elon’s tweet that Tesla will no more accept Bitcoin as payment due to its high energy consumption sent whole crypto market into shock. Elon Musk also tweeted that he is working with Dogecoin developers to improve the system.
Working with Doge devs to improve system transaction efficiency. Potentially promising.

Post Elon’s tweet, the price of Dogecoin is pushing towards a new all time high. While everyone was sure that Elon mush have a plan but after this new announcement by Doge Lead developer things seem a bit fishy. Though, Elon haven’t responded to the tweet yet but this puts a big question on reports that Dogecoin developers are working with Elon Musk.
Bruce is also very clear that Dogecoin team is very happy with currency system and would like to continue with that.
