Following a major partnership with Radio Doge, the Dogecocoin-funded Space X Doge-1 mission is one step closer to the launch.
CubeSat Mission DOGE-1 has recently achieved a new milestone that is expected to push its space mission forward. According to X (formerly Twitter), DOGE-1lunar has established a strategic alliance with Radio Doge (a decentralized communication and data transmission network).
The post reads: " The DOGE-1 lunar satellite will join forces with the Radio Doge. The satellite will be able to promote dogecoin trading by radio. The lunar economy is taking shape.”
Geometric Energy Corporation (GEC) CEO and co-founder Samuel Reid announced the announcement in X. Reid officially announced the partnership of the DOGE-1 Lunar mission with Radio Doge, outlining the major benefits the alliance will bring to the cryptocurrency space.
GEC's CEO said the new partnership will enable people who have no access to the Internet to execute Dogecoin transactions seamlessly. On Wednesday, December 6th, Reid announced the partnership to officially mark Dogecoin's 10th birthday.
Reid said: " The Doge-1 satellite will be integrated with Radio Doge, a fairly significant achievement that Geometry Space has brought to the cryptocurrency community and the world. This is a direct collaboration between the Dogecoin Foundation and GEC.”
The inclusion of Radio Doge in the DOGE-1 lunar mission will fully facilitate the GEC's mission to gather lunar space intelligence and to broadcast feeds and data from the moon to Earth globally using high-tech sensors and cameras.
The partnership will also officially launch the DOGE themed lunar mission, which is scheduled for January 14,2024.
With critical progress in its development, the DOGE-1 lunar mission has moved closer to the launch date, according to the X account @itsallrisky.
One of the major events included the recent approval of the DOGE-1 lunar mission by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (the NTIA). The approval is an important milestone for the DOGE-1, giving it a full launch permit from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
In addition, the DOGE-1 mission has acquired a number of advertisers, including a game company and irreplaceable tokens (NFT). DOGE ads are preparing to be displayed on satellites and via Internet video sources that can be transmitted online to various locations on Earth.
Even more exciting, the news of the DOGE-1 lunar landing mission had a positive impact on the mood of the Dogecoin community and led to a small increase in DOGE prices.
