According to Bloomberg, Elon Musk is hiring for the Government Efficiency Department (DOGE), with Steve Davis, president of Musk's tunnel company Boring Co. [], and former U. S. chief technology officer Michael Kratsios as one of the main potential candidates, according to people familiar with the matter. DOGE has now hired about 10 people and is looking for software engineers, including those with experience in AI.
DOGE currently operates in a glass-wall office in Washington, rented by another Musk-owned company, SpaceX, about four blocks from the White House.
