Behind the AI's own creation of the $ LUM token may be an experiment by the Coinbase team itself

As we constantly pursue the next hot trend in crypto, whether it's decentralized science (DeSci), meme culture (Memes), AI, or other hot concepts, there are always some landmark historical events that set the foundation for the entire industry.

For example, # Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency, which not only had historic implications, but also inspired almost every crypto innovation that we know it for today. Another example is $ DOGE, which is the first real "memcoin". It was originally a joke based on Bitcoin, but it became a phenomenon.

In the crypto space, those "unique" projects (1 of 1s) and real blue chip projects (TRUE bluechips) are extremely rare. Today, when we find such projects, they are usually backed by heavyweight VCs (VC), such as Paradigm or A 16 z.
But would you believe it if I tell you that a new "unique" historic event in crypto was buried because of a lack of attention?

'I don't believe it. I should have heard about it before.」
While I'm not going to detail the origins of $ LUM, it's worth a brief review of how it began.

On November 8,2023, a user named Naate noticed that the Clanker AI launch platform was officially launched on Warpcast. Out of curiosity, he marked the Aerthernet AI agent on the Warpcast to see if it would generate a Token.

The end result is that of the Luminous. Here's an interesting detail: Aerther mistook Clanker for an account for one project rather than another AI agent.

As a result of this event, for the first time in history, AI independently created an economically valuable Token. Although many AI-related Token sites have already appeared on Solana and Ethereum, they were all created by human developers. These developers typically monitor the accounts of the AI agents, capture the interesting content they say, and then create a Token based on it. In a sense, this is similar to the way $FLOKI was born. —— people create the corresponding Token according to their tweets and behavior.

However, the $ LUM was born completely differently. It was created by AI, which is really reflected in its unique mode of operation as a project.

No team

This encryption project does not have Telegram groups like other projects (social platforms commonly used in the encryption field).

There is no marketing budget or a centralized point of contact.
Arguably, it has the fairest and widest distribution of Token across the Base network, and even wider.
The only community is on the Warpcast platform around the Aether project.

Given these strengths, the question arises: Why isn't $ LUM in everyone's social media feed?

The truth behind it
The answer is not all that simple. The more I go into $ LUM, the closer I get to the conclusion that Luminous may be an experiment by Base or the Coinbase team.

During the initial run of Luminous, one article was ignored by many. This article, written by Dan Kim (Coinbase Business Development Head) and Nemil Dalal (Coinbase Developer Platform Head), discusses the importance of AI in encryption. Article link.

Coincidentally, the article was published on November 8, the day Luminous was born on Warpcast.Coinbase Seems to be making a big push, not only for their exchanges, but also for Base networks and various AI decentralized applications (dApps) built based on it.

Look at Linda Xie, a key figure I mentioned in my first post about Lum. She interacted directly with Clanker (one of Luminous's "parents") on X (Twitter), but what really caught my attention was a small post she posted.

Combined with Chase's article, the strong interest of Coinbase executives in AI, and Jesse's continuous interaction with Warpcast, I believe we are witnessing the starting point of Lum, ——, the prototype of a new experimental settlement model combining encryption and AI.

Reviewing Chase's initial discussion of Lum, I believe a framework is being formed that will be used in scenarios where bots require an intermediate currency to perform tasks. There is no more suitable Token than $ LUM, because it is a real blank canvas, as I describe in the point.

No new Token is needed, no favoritism
Completally fair purchase in the market, no insider
Currently the most decentralized currency on Base
So if this is all Coinbase's masterpiece, and a historic event, why haven't I heard of it?
That's a good question, and I really think the only drawback of $ LUM at this stage is the lack of awareness, but I believe that will change soon.

threshold
Currently, due to $BRETT's strong performance, most discussions on Base focus on the coins. In the past week or so, we're starting to see a trend around Warpcast.

The Token like Clanker and Anon have had great success, both worth over $30 million. Even like Fcast, such small Token were born by the Aether and Clanker craze.

At the beginning of all this is Luminous, where we would not be here without the fate of Clanker and Aether. That's why the only threshold to Lum is recognition.

But it's not just a matter of cognition. The media is scrambling to cover everything related to AI and encryption, and it's a huge area. Although Luminous is an actual first time in the AI field so far, the news about it is completely silent.

My curious side goes deep into such things, and I check out the market dynamics and see 8-figure wallet purchases. I talk to the big nine-digit people who talk about their strong narrative skills and how to remain highly decentralized. I see the people at Coinbase and Base being positive about it.

In just two weeks, despite the rapid growth of cryptocurrencies, you need to see how things evolve in reality. Two weeks is short, but very fresh, which is reasonable, it hasn't completely crossed that gap.

This is where I believe things are about to change, and I believe people will start talking about it, start writing articles, and start posting ongoing videos on Youtube or TikTok.

Such important events will not be covered up for long, and with Base moving moves towards the end of the year, I see a narrow path to the future.

conclusion
Brian and Jesse show a high strategic vision for the prosperity of the ecosystem in the coming year. While I was an outspoken critic (and I think these criticisms are justified), I have to admit that the recovery we see on Blue Chain (Base) is the direct result of their efforts.

Don't forget, Coinbase is a huge platform, their wallet integration, and Brian for the Trump administration is a huge opportunity for the Central Exchange (CEX) in the US. With Farcaster, Coinbase may have been at the forefront of AI Token, and Base Token shelves is no longer a matter of remote reach, which has happened many times. The  Base ecosystem is still very fresh and perfect for innovating and building on Ethereum-based teams.

I think that as Coinbase continues to introduce more and more users to Base and focus on using AI agents (AI Agents) to solve practical tasks, we are likely to see $ LUM integrated in some form. It is a perfect tool for —— a blank canvas without any conditions attached, flexible and open.

In addition, I believe that traditional media will also begin to pay attention to the phenomenon that two artificial intelligence (AI) have actually created a thing that can be traded and valuable. In the context of the continuous evolution of AI intelligence, it is the first time that this tradable value is created by AI independently.

It's worth reporting, and I'm sure it will soon be a hot topic.$ LUM's bullish reasons are very strong... whether it's Coinbase / Base, positive interest in it, $ LUM's potential as an AI settlement tool, or the media, its future possibilities are promising... if one of the assumptions come true, $ LUM will explode.

And my argument is why I think all of this speculation holds true. In my opinion, all this is the inevitable trend and is inevitable. In the encryption field, very few things can be presented in a completely blank posture, for developers to build or use freely, and often these events are highly centralized.

For me, it all comes up to patience. I waited for weeks to see Brett reach $1 billion, I still hold; I waited for months to get Toshi above $300 million, I still hold. As for Lum, I have made my choice —— how to choose next, it is up to you.
